Short answer
Praxis has no single score release date. ETS sets the date by test type and by whether you tested at home or at a center, reports scores on Tuesdays and Fridays, and publishes the exact date for your test in its score reporting calendar tool.
Why there is no single date
ETS posts official Praxis score reports on dates that depend on the test type and the delivery method, at home or at a test center. Two people testing on the same day can get scores on different days if they took different tests.
ETS sometimes gives a specific schedule for particular tests. For example, it says Elementary Education Fundamentals tests (8002 to 8005) taken September 1 to 5, 2026 report after 5 p.m. ET on September 11, 2026, and those taken after September 6, 2026 report within 7 calendar days. That is a rule for those tests only, not a time for every Praxis test.
Tuesdays, Fridays and holidays
ETS reports Praxis scores on Tuesdays and Fridays. If a holiday falls on a Tuesday or Friday, scores move to the following Tuesday or Friday. So if your reporting date lands on a holiday, expect scores on the next reporting day of the same kind.
Using the ETS calendar tool
The score reporting calendar on ETS's Praxis scores page gives the date for your exact situation:
- Choose your test from the dropdown.
- Choose where you tested: at home or at a test center.
- Choose your test date to see its score reporting date.
Our Praxis page links straight to that tool, because a date calculated from a general rule would be wrong for many tests.
Unofficial scores on test day
Tests made up only of selected-response questions can show unofficial scores at the end of the session. Test centers cannot print or email them. Tests with written responses need more scoring time and do not show a score on the day.
After your scores post
- Your official score report appears on the Score Reports page of your Praxis account, and ETS emails you.
- Scores go to the institutions or agencies you chose at registration, up to four at no extra cost.
- Scores reported on or after July 21, 2017 stay in your account for ten years from the reporting date.
