How ACT scores are released

  • ACT lists an initial score release date for each national test date in its test dates table.
  • ACT says over 97% of scores are released within about 2 to 4 weeks after the test date.
  • If you took the optional writing test, complete scores including writing may be released a bit later, because all parts are processed together.
  • ACT does not publish a release time, so this site shows the date only.
