What we collect, and what we do not.

The short version

• There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms on ScoreCalendar.
• We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. It sets cookies, and you can opt out.
• We do not run advertising today.
• If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to fix the site.
• We will update this page before adding advertising.

What we collect

Server logs

Like any website, the servers that deliver ScoreCalendar receive technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider uses this to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors. We do not use it to identify you.

Email

If you write to contact@scorecalendar.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply and, when you report a date, to check and correct it. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Tools that run in your browser

The score date finder, countdowns and calendar views run entirely in your browser. Your exam choice is not sent to us. When you use “Add to calendar,” the calendar file is created on your device and saved by your browser.

Cookies

ScoreCalendar does not set cookies of its own. Google Analytics, described below, sets cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they reach the site. This helps us decide which exams and guides to add. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived, using cookies and similar technologies.

We use these reports only in aggregate. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you, and we do not combine it with other information about you. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

To opt out, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We do not show ads today. We may later display advertising such as Google AdSense to keep the site free. Before it goes live we will update this policy to describe the providers, the cookies they use and your choices, including consent where the law requires it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that run the site for us, such as hosting, email and Google Analytics, or when required by law.

Children

ScoreCalendar is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the update log.
