NBOME publishes a score release date for every COMLEX-USA testing window. Scores are released by 5 p.m. Central time on that date, for everyone who tested in the window.

How COMLEX-USA scores are released

  • Each COMLEX-USA level is given in testing windows. Everyone who tests in a window gets scores on the same release date.
  • NBOME says scores are released by 5:00 p.m. Central time, and that dates can change with candidate scheduling or testing limitations.
  • NBOME emails you when your score report is released. Score reports are in the NBOME Portal.
  • Level 1 is reported as pass or fail only. Level 2-CE and Level 3 report a three-digit standard score with a pass or fail designation.
  • NBOME runs a quality assurance process on every score before releasing it.

Common questions

When do COMLEX scores come out?

On the release date for your testing window. Find your window in the 2026 or 2027 calendar. NBOME says scores come out by 5 p.m. Central time.

How long after the exam are COMLEX scores released?

NBOME says scores are generally available within two to six weeks from the end of a Level 1 or Level 2-CE window, and eight to 10 weeks from the end of a Level 3 window.

Does it matter which day of the window I test?

Not for the release date. Everyone who tests in a window shares its release date, so testing early in a window means a longer wait.
